This resume documents a wide range of experience and skills as a communications professional. Below are highlights.

- I was Communications Specialist for the Democratic Party of Utah until funding for the position ended Nov. 30, 2008. On-going responsibilities involved development and implementation of communication strategy, including use of the Internet, media relations, crisis management, and message development and delivery.
- I have completed course requirements for a Master of Professional Communication degree at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Areas of emphasis included applied rhetoric, Web-site design and management, teaching technical and professional writing, visual communication, project management, and organization development.
- I have worked at major regional newspapers – The San Diego Union-Tribune, Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram, and The Salt Lake Tribune – as a copy editor, news editor, and art director. I won numerous awards from professional journalist organizations. As a news editor in Fort Worth, I supervised a copy desk of about 10 editors and assisted the lead projects editor in story development.
- I have varying levels of expertise in the following: QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project), Macromedia Dreamweaver, and various Internet-based social networking applications.
